Sample interview questions
I would first clarify the learner audience, desired business outcome, and the tasks learners must perform in the product. I would work with SMEs to validate the workflow, then build a concise, scenario-based module with demonstrations, guided practice, and an assessment tied directly to the learning objectives.
I start with a job-task analysis and a clear exam blueprint that maps objectives to weighted domains. I collaborate with qualified SMEs to write and review items, apply psychometric and accessibility best practices, pilot questions where possible, and use performance data to refine the exam after launch.
I review enrollment, completion, time-on-task, assessment performance, drop-off points, learner feedback, and downstream adoption indicators. These signals help me identify confusing sections or gaps, prioritize revisions, and validate whether improvements increase both comprehension and product usage.
I would assess the impact on learning objectives, certification materials, and published assets, then align quickly with Product and Engineering on the source of truth. I would prioritize learner-critical updates, communicate trade-offs and timelines, use modular content where possible, and document follow-up improvements after release.
AI can accelerate content outlining, draft generation, knowledge checks, localization support, content tagging, and learner-support experiences, but outputs require SME and instructional-design review. I would use it to reduce production time while maintaining accuracy, accessibility, brand quality, and sound learning design.
