Sample interview questions
I validate key subscription fields such as billing dates, plan details, quantities, pricing, tax settings, credits, and customer contact information. I compare exceptions against approved source records, investigate discrepancies before release, and document corrections so the same issue can be prevented in future cycles.
I would acknowledge the concern promptly, review the invoice and account history, and verify the subscription terms, amendments, payments, and any credits. I would explain the findings clearly, correct the issue or initiate the appropriate credit or refund when needed, and escalate any nonstandard case with complete supporting details.
I have used billing and CRM tools to review customer subscriptions, process invoice-related updates, track support cases, and maintain accurate account records. I focus on understanding how billing data flows between systems so that changes are correctly reflected across invoices, customer records, and case histories.
I would triage cases by urgency, financial impact, customer deadlines, and whether an issue blocks payment or service. I would send timely acknowledgements for new cases, work quick resolutions first where appropriate, keep detailed case notes, and communicate expected timelines when research or cross-functional input is required.
I identified inconsistent account data by comparing system records with supporting transaction information and noticed that a repeated field error could affect future billing. I corrected the affected records, documented the root cause, and suggested a validation step or checklist to reduce the chance of recurrence.
