Sample interview questions
I have translated and reviewed medical materials such as patient-facing documents, investigator materials, device documentation, and regulatory content. I apply approved terminology, follow client style guides, and conduct detailed QA to preserve accuracy and readability.
I first assess whether the machine output preserves the source meaning, safety information, terminology, and register. I then edit for fluent Hungarian, validate consistency against terminology resources, and complete a final quality check before delivery.
I research approved terminology, consult reference materials, and verify numbers, units, warnings, and instructions carefully. I aim for language that is medically precise while remaining understandable for the intended audience.
I have experience working with CAT tools such as XTM and Trados. I use translation memories, termbases, QA checks, and segment-level context to maintain consistency and identify potential errors before submission.
I would document the issue clearly, propose a reasoned option when possible, and raise a query through the agreed project channel. Once guidance is received, I would apply it consistently and record the decision for future work.
