Almanac is a modern collaboration tool for remote teams that makes the dream of fewer meetings a reality. It’s a single source of truth for project documentation and decision-making: one place where remote technical teams can write, approve, track, and document.

We believe teams and companies are the sum of their systems and processes—but most are surprisingly informal about how they collaborate, leading to chaos, delays, and frustration for managers, executives, and clients.

Technical teams at companies like Airbyte, Ender, and Indeed are using Almanac to change how they write docs, get feedback without meetings, and automate repetitive processes.

We’re looking for an ambitious, versatile, and dynamic Growth Manager to expand Almanac’s user base and build compounding growth

About the role

As a Growth Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally to build and execute strategies to drive Almanac’s customer growth and revenue.

You’ll collaborate closely with our incredibly skilled, fast-paced customer development team, and our executive team, to drive results. This is a high profile opportunity with the chance to have an outsized impact: you’ll be working across our entire company, leading the charge on the organization’s most important goals and opportunities.

Specifically You’ll: 

• Establish and execute strategies focused on new customer acquisition using both your left and right brain: you might spend your day demoing our product to customers, or planning new quantitative growth tests via ads or outbound.
• Identify new growth personas and channels, quickly validating product value props and outlining growth strategies to shape, win, and execute competitive opportunities.
• Drive projects from ideation to results, including developing briefs, setting up experiments, overseeing implementations, measuring results, and presenting findings.
• Improve key performance metrics by optimizing winning campaigns and programs.
• Develop experimental testing roadmaps and campaigns using data and analytics from your work, and drive key decisions across the organization through your findings.
• Partner with the executive team to manage growth opportunities, surfacing dependencies, opportunities, and blockers to cross-functional partners in marketing, product, and customer ops.

About You

Experiences that make you stand out:

• 4+ years of business experience and 4+ years of prior startup experience in a growth oriented role. Ideally you came in early at a company and helped grow it.
• Consistent track record of achieving extraordinary outcomes in fast-paced and challenging environments.
• Experience successfully collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams in dynamic organizations.
• (Nice to have) Experience launching and scaling strategies from zero to one and have a point of view on how to adapt to the growth / marketing ecosystem
• (Nice to have) Former, current, or future founder: you dream of running your own business or managing your own team!
