Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Legal Consultant position for Japanese speakers. With a Juris Doctor degree and over 4 years of experience in corporate law, including work with financial services clients, I am confident in my ability to provide high-quality legal advice. My native Japanese and fluent English, combined with my experience in contract negotiation and risk management, align well with the requirements of this role.

I am particularly drawn to Axiom's commitment to flexibility and diversity. I am prepared to relocate to Hong Kong and contribute to your team. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Can you describe your experience providing legal advice to financial services clients?
I have worked with two major banks, advising on regulatory compliance and contract negotiations. For example, I helped a client navigate new data privacy regulations by drafting compliant policies.
How do you handle communication with Japanese-speaking clients?
I am a native Japanese speaker, so I can communicate directly and culturally appropriately. I also ensure all legal documents are accurately translated.
Describe a time you had to balance multiple clients' needs simultaneously.
I managed three client projects simultaneously by prioritizing urgent matters and using project management tools. I communicated proactively to manage expectations.
Why are you interested in working as a consultant rather than in-house?
Consulting offers variety and the chance to work with different industries. I enjoy the challenge of quickly adapting to new legal environments.
How do you stay updated on legal changes in the financial sector?
I subscribe to industry newsletters, attend webinars, and participate in professional groups. For Japanese regulations, I follow the FSA updates.
