Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the CRO & Growth Manager position at Ruby Labs. With over 5 years of experience optimizing web funnels for B2C products, including 3 years specifically in the iGaming industry, I have a proven track record of improving conversion rates and LTV through data-driven testing. I am adept at leading cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives and meet strict KPIs. I would love to bring my expertise in A/B testing and user behavior analysis to drive growth for your portfolio project. Thank you for considering my application.

Can you describe a specific A/B test you ran that significantly improved conversion rate for an iGaming product?
I once ran a test on the registration flow for an online casino, where we simplified the form from 10 fields to 5 and added social login options. The test resulted in a 25% increase in registration conversion and a 15% lift in first deposit rate.
How do you prioritize which growth hypotheses to test?
I use a combination of data analysis (e.g., funnel drop-off points), user feedback (surveys/session recordings), and business impact vs. effort scoring. I focus on high-impact, low-effort tests first to gain quick wins, then move to more complex experiments.
Describe your experience with cross-functional collaboration. How do you ensure alignment with designers and developers?
I hold regular syncs and use tools like Jira and Confluence to document requirements. I involve designers early in hypothesis creation to get their input on feasibility, and I work closely with developers during implementation to ensure accurate tracking and QA.
What metrics do you consider most important for evaluating the success of a growth initiative in iGaming?
Key metrics include registration conversion rate, first deposit conversion rate, cost per acquisition (CPA), customer lifetime value (LTV), and retention rates. I also monitor funnel progression from impression to payment.
How do you stay updated on the latest CRO and growth strategies in the iGaming industry?
I follow industry blogs like CasinoSmash, attend conferences like SiGMA, and participate in online communities. I also analyze competitor funnels and run A/B tests on new ideas to validate against our user base.
