Sample interview questions
Can you describe your experience using GDS Sabre for corporate travel bookings?

I have used Sabre for more than three years to search, book, and alter flights, hotels, and cars, as well as construct complex itineraries that align with corporate policies. My proficiency allows me to quickly identify the best options for clients.

How do you balance client preferences with the need to follow travel policy?

I always start by clearly understanding the client's needs and the policy requirements. When there is a conflict, I explain the policy and suggest compliant alternatives that still meet their needs, while escalating or documenting any exceptions as necessary.

Tell us about a time you managed a travel disruption for a client. What did you do?

A client's flight was canceled at the last minute. I immediately rebooked them on a different carrier, arranged a direct alternative, and communicated the new details along with updated hotel and transfer information. The client appreciated the proactive handling and minimal downtime.

How do you prioritize when juggling multiple urgent requests at the same time?

I evaluate each request for urgency and impact, then use my booking tools and task lists to track progress. I also set expectations with clients by providing realistic timelines and follow up promptly so nothing falls through the cracks.

Why do you want to join BCD Travel specifically?

BCD's focus on innovation, sustainability, and employee development matches my professional values. I am excited about the chance to work in a global organization where I can continue to grow my skills and make a meaningful contribution to corporate travel.
