Sample interview questions
I have used Sabre daily for over 5 years, handling complex itineraries that involve multiple segments, different airlines, and international travel. I am comfortable with all ticketing procedures, including reissues, exchanges, and split ticketing. For example, I once managed a 15-city music tour for an artist, coordinating flights, ground transport, and hotels, while handling frequent last-minute changes efficiently.
I remain calm and prioritize solving the issue quickly. I immediately rebook alternatives, contact the client with clear options, and ensure all changes are synced with ground arrangements. I also proactively monitor for potential disruptions and have backup plans in place. In one case, a sudden airline strike required rebooking an entire crew; I secured alternative flights within hours while keeping all stakeholders informed.
I managed travel for a well-known actor who was filming in a remote location. I ensured all bookings were made under pseudonyms or corporate codes, avoided sharing any details with unauthorized personnel, and used private notes in the PNR for special requests. I never discussed the itinerary with anyone outside the immediate team, even when colleagues asked casually.
I use a combination of tools and organizational methods. I create a detailed checklist for each traveler, set reminders for ticketing deadlines, and maintain a shared calendar with all key milestones. I also communicate clearly with clients about timelines, and I regularly review the queue to handle urgent requests first. This approach ensures no detail is overlooked, even during peak travel seasons.
I have always been passionate about the entertainment industry and understand its unique demands, such as tight schedules, high expectations, and the need for discretion. My experience with corporate travel, combined with my ability to handle complex group movements and my knowledge of industry-specific regulations, makes me well-suited. I am excited to apply my skills to support creative professionals and contribute to BCD's renowned entertainment practice.
