About this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform QC of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
- Use CAT tools (XTM preferred) and run QA checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.
- Support processing of non-editable/handwritten sources and perform formatting QC after conversion.
- Self-assign work via Open Offers and meet urgent TATs (typically 12–24 hours).
- Handle high volume split across multiple small files; document and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with translators, editors, and PMs; escalate risks promptly.
- Follow corporate procedures (CP0048), data security, and SOPs within the assigned Squad.
Requirements:
- Mandatory experience with CAT tools: XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase or similars.
- Experience with QA checks: Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA.
- Minimum 6 months as a Language QA specialist in localization.
- Advanced English (C1); proficient in Microsoft Word (Track Changes).
- Availability of 4–5 hours per day; willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Able to meet urgent TATs (12–24 hours) and manage many small files.
- Willing to complete the QC test and follow staged onboarding.
