Sample interview questions
I have managed forecasting for multi-million dollar sales territories by implementing a bottoms-up approach combined with historical trends and pipeline analysis. I regularly collaborate with sales reps and leadership to validate assumptions, and I use scenario planning in Salesforce to account for risks and opportunities. This has consistently improved forecast accuracy to within 10% variance.
In my previous role, I used an LLM to automate the generation of weekly sales performance summaries from CRM data, which saved our team several hours each week. I also worked on a project to use natural language processing to analyze call transcripts for win/loss insights, helping refine our sales messaging and coaching.
I partnered with a Regional VP to restructure their territory coverage, identifying gaps in high-growth segments and realigning reps to emerging markets. This resulted in a 15% increase in pipeline generation and improved quota attainment by the end of the quarter. I also provided regular insights on rep performance that guided coaching investments.
I align initiatives with the overall GTM strategy and focus on high-impact, time-sensitive work first. I use a combination of stakeholder alignment, agile project management, and clear communication to ensure critical tasks are completed on time. I also delegate to offshore resources effectively, providing clear guidelines and checkpoints to maintain quality.
I implemented a lead scoring and routing process in Salesforce that automatically prioritized inbound leads based on firmographic and behavioral data. This reduced response time by 40% and increased conversion rates by 20%. The process was designed to be easily replicable across regions, and I documented the workflow for global adoption.
