Dear Hiring Team,
I am excited to apply for the Executive Assistant, Design role at Figma. With extensive experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced technology environments, I bring proactive calendar and travel management, sound judgment, and a disciplined approach to confidential work.
I excel at creating operating rhythms, coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives, and anticipating risks before they affect leadership priorities. My communication style is clear, thoughtful, and appropriately direct, enabling me to represent leaders effectively while building trusted relationships across teams.
Figma's focus on collaborative design, operational excellence, and creative use of AI strongly resonates with me. I would welcome the opportunity to help the Design organization operate efficiently and scale successfully.
Sample interview questions
I begin by confirming the decision criteria, such as business impact, urgency, required attendees, and immovable deadlines. I present the executive with concise options and tradeoffs, recommend a path, and communicate the final decision promptly while preserving relationships with affected stakeholders.
I would establish a repeatable operating cadence with clear owners, decision points, content deadlines, and a single source of truth. Before the meeting, I would validate readiness and surface risks; afterward, I would document decisions, assign action items, and follow up until commitments are closed.
I treat confidential information on a need-to-know basis, use approved tools and access controls, and verify recipients before sharing sensitive materials. I also apply judgment in verbal discussions and escalate ambiguous situations to the appropriate leader or policy owner.
I map recurring tasks and friction points first, then standardize intake, automate reminders or status tracking where appropriate, and document the new workflow. I measure success through reduced manual coordination, clearer ownership, and faster completion of critical deliverables.
I would clarify the desired outcome, identify stakeholders and dependencies, and create an action plan with milestones and accountable owners. I would maintain a concise status view, resolve blockers directly when possible, and escalate only with context and a recommended decision.

- A thoughtful and inclusive lens with a track record of trustworthiness, reliability, and discretion with confidential information
- Advanced-level skills in Google Suite products (Gmail, GCal, Google Drive – Docs, Sheets)
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
