Sample interview questions
I would score prospects against strategic alignment, target-customer overlap, solution fit, market reach, executive sponsorship potential, and realistic near-term revenue opportunity. I would then validate the shortlist with sales leadership and establish a phased engagement plan for the highest-value partners.
I would begin by defining the shared ideal customer profile, use cases, differentiated value proposition, and revenue objectives. From there, I would establish enablement needs, campaign tactics, account-mapping activities, ownership, milestones, and a dashboard for leads, pipeline, conversion, and sourced or influenced revenue.
I would report active and enabled partners, partner-sourced and partner-influenced leads, pipeline value, win rate, deal velocity, revenue, campaign ROI, certification progress, and partner engagement levels. I would pair these metrics with insights on blockers, growth opportunities, and recommended actions.
I would first diagnose the cause through direct stakeholder conversations and performance data, such as unclear value, insufficient enablement, competing priorities, or weak sales alignment. I would reset the joint plan around a specific use case, named-account opportunity, or campaign with clear commitments and a short review cadence.
I translate capabilities into business outcomes, customer use cases, implementation considerations, and measurable value rather than relying on technical jargon. I tailor the level of detail to the audience while partnering with solution architects when deeper technical validation is needed.
Mactores is the agent-native AWS modernization firm. Most modernization work doesn’t ship, it stalls in pilots, slips a year, or lands at three times the budget. We exist to ship it: production systems running, legacy retired, outcomes measured. Our delivery is built on Aedeon, the agent platform built by Mactores’ founders’ sister company, which absorbs the repetitive 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, dependency mapping, validation, test generation, that traditional consulting bills human hours against. Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.
