About this role.

It is an early-career product research role requiring at least one year of relevant experience, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Sample interview questions
I would start by framing the product decision, then explain how qualitative work uncovered motivations and usability issues while quantitative data established prevalence or segmented behaviors. I would conclude with the specific recommendation, stakeholder actions, and measurable outcome.
I would clarify the target users and success criteria, review existing behavioral data, and conduct exploratory interviews to understand needs and concerns. I would then test prototypes through moderated or unmoderated usability sessions, use a survey or experiment to validate broader signals, and present prioritized recommendations to product and design.
I involve product and design partners early in defining questions and decisions, share interim findings when useful, and tie insights directly to product choices. My final deliverable emphasizes evidence, implications, recommended actions, and any trade-offs, followed by a discussion of ownership and next steps.
I would respectfully present the evidence, explain the study’s limitations and confidence level, and connect the findings to user needs and business outcomes. Rather than positioning research as a verdict, I would facilitate a conversation about options and recommend a focused follow-up test when uncertainty remains.
I assess each request by decision urgency, potential user and business impact, risk, and the consequences of being wrong. I align on the smallest credible study that can inform the decision, communicate trade-offs transparently, and maintain a research roadmap for larger strategic questions.

- Communicate insights in compelling ways; bridge alignment across teams through written reports and in-person presentations.
- Partner with Design and Product to make research an essential part of our practice and culture (i.e., creating documentation on best practices, advocacy of methods, partnering and mentoring on tests run by design or PMs).
You’ll love it here if you are:
- Excited to play a key role in improving dating for a number of different user segments with unique needs.
- Empathetic and curious — able to investigate complex and very human problems with minimal bias and ego
- Have a strong analytical orientation and curiosity about research and its implications
- Creative and flexible in your approach to answering questions
- Passionate about conducting mixed methods research to create a more complete picture of the problem space
We could be a Match if you have:
- At least 1+ years of experience conducting user research in a product environment (B2C or B2B)
- Experience conducting user interviews and usability testing (moderated and/or unmoderated).
- Experience creating surveys and analyzing the results to determine user attitudes and behaviors
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to share research to all audiences from designers to executive level stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
