Sample interview questions
I would begin with the candidate's academic record, LSAT results, work history, goals, geographic preferences, and financial considerations. I would then compare those factors with recent admissions patterns and each school's programs, employment outcomes, and culture to build a balanced list of reach, target, and likely options.
I first identify the applicant's core message, strongest experiences, and intended narrative. I provide structured feedback on clarity, organization, specificity, and impact, while preserving the applicant's language and ensuring the final essay sounds credible, personal, and polished.
I would assess every remaining deliverable, identify dependencies and hard deadlines, and create a prioritized weekly plan with achievable milestones. I would communicate candidly about tradeoffs, schedule focused review sessions, and use progress tracking to keep the student accountable without compromising quality.
I would evaluate the issue in context and determine whether an addendum is appropriate. Then I would help the applicant address it factually and concisely, while ensuring the broader application demonstrates growth, evidence of readiness, and strengths that support their candidacy.
I regularly review law school admissions data, school communications, professional admissions resources, and updates from LSAC and relevant legal education organizations. I also apply insights from applicant outcomes and ongoing conversations with students to refine guidance responsibly.
