Sample interview questions
I would first align with subject-matter experts on the target audience, desired job tasks, prerequisite knowledge, common errors, and measurable outcomes. I would then create a learning flow that uses a realistic customer scenario, concise explanation, product demonstration, guided practice, and knowledge checks. I would validate technical accuracy with SMEs and use learner feedback and completion data to improve the course.
I begin with a discovery conversation to define the audience, learning objective, scope, and source materials. I create a storyboard and script, obtain SME approval, capture the product workflow, and edit screen recordings with narration, motion graphics, and accessibility considerations such as captions. After QA for accuracy, audio, visuals, and links, I publish the asset in the LMS and document a review date for product updates.
I use visuals only when they clarify a concept or support a learner action, rather than adding decoration. I keep terminology, UI labels, and workflows aligned with the live product, conduct structured SME reviews, and test whether a learner can complete the intended task after viewing the content. This approach protects accuracy while making difficult concepts easier to retain.
I would verify learning objectives, technical accuracy, assessment validity, navigation, accessibility, media playback, captions, links, scoring, and LMS completion tracking. I would also test the course in its published environment across relevant browsers and devices. Finally, I would ask a representative learner or internal reviewer to complete the experience and flag unclear instructions or friction points.
I maintain an asset inventory with owners, product versions, dependencies, and review dates, then prioritize changes according to customer impact, release urgency, and learner risk. I communicate scope and timelines early with stakeholders, use reusable design components where possible, and separate critical corrections from larger enhancement work. This allows urgent content to be updated quickly without losing visibility into longer-term improvements.
