About this role.

At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.

We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Sample interview questions
How do you build a pipeline when inbound lead volume is insufficient to meet your target?

I segment the market by ideal customer profile, prioritize high-fit accounts, and create a consistent multichannel cadence across phone, email, and social outreach. I track conversion at every stage, test messaging, and allocate time weekly to the channels and segments producing the most qualified opportunities.

Describe how you conduct discovery with an owner-operated roofing business.

I begin with open questions about how the business currently estimates jobs, manages leads, creates proposals, collects payments, and tracks operations. I quantify the impact of manual processes or missed follow-up, identify the owner’s priorities, and use those findings to tailor the demo around relevant outcomes rather than generic features.

How would you handle a prospect who says they already use another CRM?

I would acknowledge that switching systems has a cost and explore what is working and what remains difficult in their current process. I would then connect Roofr’s differentiators to the gaps they identify, validate implementation concerns, and agree on a clear next step based on the value of solving those specific problems.

What metrics do you use to manage your own sales performance?

I monitor activity volume, contact rates, meetings booked, qualified-opportunity creation, pipeline coverage, stage conversion, sales-cycle length, win rate, and closed revenue. Reviewing these weekly helps me spot bottlenecks early and adjust prospecting, qualification, or deal strategy before results are affected.

Tell us about a time you improved a sales process using customer feedback.

In a prior role, recurring discovery feedback showed that prospects needed clearer proof of ROI before advancing. I partnered with internal stakeholders to refine the demo flow and introduce relevant customer examples, which made value discussions more concrete and improved progression from demo to proposal.
