Reporting to the Sr. Account Director will be responsible for supporting Comcast’s sponsorship portfolio. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for the Northeast Division (including six regions in the Northeast Division) and key client executives in their efforts to advance the client’s sports & entertainment marketing initiatives through sponsorship, creative, activation and digital/social platforms. No two days are the same as you will assist clients with implementation of the sponsorship review process and provide analysis of the sponsorship landscape (renewal timelines, available opportunities, etc.). You are comfortable leading sponsorship negotiations, contracting, evaluations, and developing and executing sponsorship activation plans.

This position would be a part of Comcast’s Partnership Strategy & Activation team while also working with and supporting NASCAR, Olympics, Gaming, Xfinity Rewards, and Comcast Business teams. REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Client-Facing. You will manage day-to-day client relationships and act as a critical integrator across our team and the client’s brand partnerships team. You will execute and manage programs and deadlines daily, ensuring quality work is provided.
  • Partnership and Brand Management. You have experience managing brand activations across different partnerships, especially with a focus in sports and entertainment disciplines. You’ll manage sports creative for the respective divisions and support the development of Creative Activation Playbooks around major sports seasons. You’ll have extensive experience leading negotiation tactics for prospective partnerships or partnership renewal conversations.
  • Program Reporting.You’ll oversee data and results tracking to meet program goals and drive competitive analysis and industry insights through weekly and monthly client communications. You’ll also lead property proposal reviews/evaluations- producing quantitative evaluations of sports & entertainment sponsorship proposals and written POVs and recaps on new and existing partnerships to ensure program goals are being met and adjust strategy as needed. Extra points if you have experience with research and measurement tools like Klear, Nielsen, or Netbase.
  • Cross-Collaboration + Effective Communication.You will build and maintain relationships with our corporate clients, divisional leads, regional leads, and GMR internal teams (e.g., creative, etc.)  You will work closely with the Sports Creative account team to manage client requests and fulfill contractual sponsorship creative according to specifications and time and budget parameters.
  • Program Management. You have experience developing and managing program details to ensure that all elements are delivered on time and that all stakeholders can utilize the partnership resources provided. To support these efforts, you’ll develop and lead presentations, program budgets, and provide constructive feedback on creative.
  • StoryMaking Process. This role is considered a Super User of GMR’s StoryMaking Process (SMP). You will be required to work within the SMP and apply it to all your opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding the SMP inside and out, advocating for the SMP within the agency and providing feedback for continued improvement.
