Dear Hiring Team,

I am excited to apply for the Partnership Development role at Alan. With a strong background in building strategic partnerships and driving growth in the B2B sector, I am confident in my ability to expand Alan's presence in Belgium. My experience includes scouting and closing partnerships with organizations like social secretaries and business federations, as well as managing partner activation and performance optimization.

I am particularly drawn to Alan's mission of ending the wait in healthcare and building a prevention-focused insurance model. I thrive in cross-functional environments and have a proven track record of using data to drive decisions and achieve measurable results. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to Alan's growth and help establish thought leadership in the Belgian market.

Thank you for considering my application. I am eager to discuss how my skills align with Alan's goals.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Can you describe a time when you successfully identified and closed a strategic partnership? What steps did you take?
I researched potential partners aligned with our target market, created tailored pitches, and negotiated terms that benefited both parties. For example, I partnered with a major accounting firm to offer our services to their clients, resulting in a 20% increase in member acquisition.
How do you measure the success of a partnership? What metrics do you track?
I track key metrics like member acquisition, contracts signed, generated ARR, conversion rates, and partner engagement. I use CRM data to analyze performance and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
Describe a situation where a partnership was underperforming. How did you turn it around?
I conducted a performance review, identified low partner engagement, and implemented a joint campaign with targeted marketing materials. I also scheduled regular check-ins to align goals, which improved conversion rates by 15%.
How do you approach cross-functional collaboration, especially with legal and product teams?
I ensure clear communication of partnership goals and requirements, involve legal early to streamline contracts, and work with product to tailor offerings. Regular meetings and shared documentation help align everyone.
What experience do you have in marketing, and how does it complement partnership development?
I have managed co-marketing campaigns like webinars and newsletters to drive partner engagement. Marketing skills help me create compelling pitches and collateral, and coordinate joint communications to maximize visibility and conversions.

Health can’t wait.

Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.

Alan exists to end the wait.

Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.

So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.

We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

Prevention as the new norm. That’s what we’re building with our team of 800+ people. If it speaks to you: we’re hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.

⭐️ The partnership development job ⭐️

We’re looking for a Partnership Developer to lead and expand our partnership strategy in Belgium. You’ll be responsible for identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships that drive growth in our self-serve segment, with a focus on management companies and small businesses.

Strategic partners are organizations who recommend us to their customers, driving member acquisition (online signatures & lead generation) and brand expansion (visibility). You’ll be at the forefront of building these relationships and creating scalable partnership programs.

Your key missions:

  1. Scout & close new strategic partners. Think social secretaries, business federations, accountants, insurers, … and many more. You’ll personalize pitches for each partner type, manage the full cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation, and build a robust pipeline of high-potential partnerships.

  2. Drive ongoing activation by serving as the main point of contact for partner success. This means regularly engaging with partners through check-ins and updates, providing them with marketing collateral and product information, coordinating joint campaigns and communication calendars (think newsletters, webinars, joint press release, … ), identifying opportunities to increase partner engagement and member conversions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to ensuring partners are actively promoting Alan and achieving results.

  3. Nurture & optimize your partner portfolio through strategic relationship management, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll identify underperforming partnerships and implement action plans to optimize results, while scaling best practices from top performers across your entire partner network.

  4. Drive results by tracking key metrics (member acquisition, contracts signed, generated ARR, conversion rates, partner engagement) and reporting on partnership ROI. You’ll maintain accurate tracking in CRM systems, conduct regular performance analyses, and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.

You’ll own the full partnership lifecycle—from prospecting to performance optimization—with a strong emphasis on partner activation and engagement to ensure partnerships deliver measurable business impact for Alan in Belgium.

You’ll work cross-functionally with other teams (legal, product, sales …) to ensure each partnership launches successfully.
