Key Skills

Sales Business Development Healthcare Mental Health Consultative Selling Strategic Partnerships Negotiation Executive Communication Data Analysis Project Management

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Health Systems Business Development Manager position at Lyra Health. With over 5 years of experience in healthcare sales and business development, I have successfully forged partnerships with health systems and employers, driving revenue growth and expanding access to mental health services. My background in consultative selling and executive communication aligns perfectly with the requirements of this role.

I am particularly drawn to Lyra's mission of transforming mental health care through evidence-based solutions and technology. In my previous role, I exceeded annual quotas by building strategic relationships and negotiating complex contracts. I am adept at using data to build compelling business cases and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful implementations.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to Lyra's growth and would welcome the chance to discuss how my skills can support your team. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Can you describe a time when you successfully negotiated a complex contract with a health system? What strategies did you use?
In my previous role, I negotiated a multi-year partnership with a large health system. I focused on understanding their key priorities, building trust with decision-makers, and presenting data-driven ROI. I also aligned internal stakeholders to ensure we could meet their needs, resulting in a win-win agreement.
How do you approach prospecting for new business opportunities in a competitive market?
I start by researching target organizations and identifying key decision-makers. I use a combination of networking, referrals, and cold outreach to initiate conversations. I tailor my messaging to highlight how our solutions address their specific pain points, and I leverage industry insights to position us as a strategic partner.
Describe your experience with using data to build a business case for a new partnership.
I have used Excel and data visualization tools to analyze market trends, client usage patterns, and financial projections. For example, I created a dashboard showing potential cost savings and improved outcomes for a prospective partner, which helped secure executive buy-in.
How do you manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across different organizations?
I prioritize clear communication and regular check-ins. I map out stakeholder needs and tailor my interactions accordingly. I also use CRM tools to track interactions and follow up promptly. Building trust and demonstrating value consistently is key.
