Sample interview questions
In my previous role, I worked with a distributor in Southeast Asia to revamp their go-to-market strategy. By analyzing sell-out data and identifying underperforming channels, we reallocated resources to high-potential areas, resulting in a 15% sales increase within six months.
I focus on gross-to-net analysis, margin optimization, and A&P efficiency. I regularly track net sales, volume, gross margin, and promotional ROI to ensure profitability. I also collaborate with finance to align budgets with strategic goals.
When launching a global pet nutrition campaign in Indonesia, I had to adjust messaging to emphasize local ingredients and cultural preferences. Challenges included regulatory differences and limited digital infrastructure. I worked with local teams to create region-specific content and selected appropriate channels.
I regularly analyze sell-in/sell-out data, inventory levels, and competitor trends. For example, by identifying a decline in shelf space for a key product, I recommended a promotional strategy that increased visibility and reversed the trend.
I prioritize planning and use travel time efficiently. I schedule meetings in clusters to minimize trips and leverage video calls for follow-ups. I also ensure clear communication with my team to maintain productivity while away.
