Sample interview questions
How do you prioritize pipeline generation activities across multiple campaigns?

I use a data-driven approach, analyzing past campaign performance and focusing on high-intent segments. I align with sales to identify key accounts and allocate resources to ABM initiatives while maintaining a baseline of broad demand generation.

Describe your experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) in a B2B tech environment.

I have led ABM programs targeting strategic accounts, coordinating personalized campaigns, events, and content. I worked closely with sales to select accounts, measure engagement, and refine tactics to increase pipeline velocity.

How would you collaborate with Salesforce partner teams to drive joint marketing initiatives?

I would establish regular communication with partner marketing leads, co-create co-branded content, and plan joint events. I would also track ROI and align on mutual goals to ensure we leverage each other's strengths.

Can you give an example of a successful customer event or webinar you organized that generated qualified leads?

I organized a virtual roundtable on Data Cloud adoption, targeting mid-market companies. By partnering with a Salesforce expert, we delivered a case study that resonated. The event generated 30 qualified leads and contributed to a 15% increase in pipeline.

How do you measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in terms of pipeline contribution?

I use Salesforce reporting to track sourced and influenced pipeline. I analyze first-touch and multi-touch attribution, and conduct regular campaign reviews with sales to adjust tactics. I also focus on conversion rates from lead to opportunity.
