Sample interview questions
How have you managed a full sales cycle from prospecting through close in a technology or SaaS environment?

I use a structured process that starts with account research and targeted outreach, then moves through discovery, qualification, solution alignment, stakeholder mapping, commercial discussions, and a documented close plan. I maintain next steps, risks, and forecast status in the CRM so I can prioritize the right opportunities and keep internal partners aligned.

How would you approach selling Huntress to an MSP partner in the Nordics?

I would first research the MSP's customer profile, security offerings, growth priorities, and current technology stack. In discovery, I would identify operational pain points and client-risk drivers, then connect Huntress capabilities to measurable outcomes such as stronger protection, easier security operations, and differentiated managed services. I would tailor the business case to both the MSP's commercial goals and its end-customer needs.

Describe a time you overcame a competitive objection in a sales process.

I would acknowledge the competitor's perceived strengths, ask questions to understand the underlying evaluation criteria, and avoid arguing on features alone. I would then reframe the conversation around the customer's highest-priority outcomes, validate differentiation with relevant proof points, and create a clear comparison plan that addresses implementation, risk, support, and long-term value.

What practices help you maintain an accurate sales forecast?

I qualify opportunities against defined criteria, confirm decision process and timing directly with buyers, and document mutual next steps after every interaction. I separate optimistic activity from evidence-based deal progression, regularly inspect deal risks, and update close dates promptly when customer commitments change.

How do you use AI tools responsibly in your day-to-day sales work?

I use AI to accelerate account research, draft outreach ideas, prepare meeting agendas, and summarize non-sensitive notes. I validate outputs against trusted sources, remove confidential customer information where required, and apply my own judgment so messaging remains accurate, personalized, and appropriate for the prospect.
