Solace is hiring a remote, 1099 Registered Nurse Healthcare Advocate to help patients navigate complex healthcare concerns. The RN will build trusted patient relationships, assess and prioritize needs, develop care plans, and address social determinants of health such as food, transportation, and home support. This role requires an active RN license, strong empathy, clinical judgment, organization, and comfort using new technology. The contractor can set their own schedule and work part-time or full-time, with all patient interactions conducted by phone or video.

I begin by listening without interruption and confirming the patient's immediate concerns and goals. I then assess urgency, identify barriers such as transportation or food access, and break the plan into manageable next steps with clear follow-up.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Healthcare Advocate with Solace, you’ll work with patients throughout their healthcare journey.
In the RN Advocate role, you will guide patients through difficult and complex health concerns and help them achieve their health and wellness goals while also addressing their Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). You’ll be an empathetic listener and an action-oriented guide who will work to actually resolve patient’s problems.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a 1099 contract position. You will set your own hours and can work part-time, full-time, or anything in between. This role is 100% remote. All patient interactions are performed via video or phone call.
What You’ll Do
Learn Solace’s proprietary system, tools, technology, and expectations, while also providing your unique experience in every interaction.
Build strong, trusting relationships with patients, where listening and empathy are the foundation for every interaction.
Be able to identify and prioritize patients’ needs and build out a care plan to ensure consistent action over time.
Develop comprehensive patient care plans that holistically address social determinants of health, i.e. food resources, transportation access, and support at home.

Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
