When a candidate doesn’t show up for an interview, it can be frustrating and disappointing. However, there are many reasons why this might happen. Sometimes, candidates simply forget about the interview or have a last-minute emergency. Other times, they may not be interested in the position anymore.

If a candidate doesn’t show up for an interview without letting you know beforehand, it’s a good idea to send them an email to follow up. This will give you a chance to learn what happened and see if they’re still interested in the position.

In your email, you should be professional and respectful, but you should also be direct. Ask the candidate why they didn’t show up for the interview and if they’re still interested in the position. If they are, you can then reschedule the interview.

If the candidate is not interested in the position, you can thank them for their time and wish them luck in their job search.
