In the advertising industry, it is easy to inflate numbers. A platform could theoretically load your ad at the very bottom of a webpage where no one ever scrolls, count it as an impression, and charge you for it. We do not operate this way.

Our billing philosophy is based on the concept of actual attention. We believe you should only pay when an ad has a genuine opportunity to be seen by a human being. We prioritize the quality of the impression over the sheer volume of impressions. This approach ensures that your Cost Per Mille (CPM) investment translates into real visibility.

The Viewable Impression Standard

To enforce our quality standards, Jobicy uses a strict “viewable impression” model. An impression is only recorded—and your budget is only deducted—when your ad physically enters the active viewing area of the user’s screen.

If a user loads a page on our platform but leaves before scrolling down to where your ad is located, that is not counted as an impression. Furthermore, if a user opens a Jobicy page in a background browser tab but never actually clicks into that tab to look at the page, your ad will not register a view. We require the ad to be visibly rendered on an active screen. This guarantees that your budget is spent on users who are actively engaged with the content.

Advanced Traffic Filtering

The internet is full of automated scripts, search engine crawlers, and data scrapers. While some of these automated programs are useful for search engines, they have no value to advertisers. A bot cannot apply for a job, buy a product, or engage with your brand.

Jobicy employs traffic filtering systems that operate silently in the background. These systems are designed to distinguish between normal human browsing behavior and automated activity. When an automated script loads a page containing your ad, our system identifies the non-human pattern and prevents the impression from being logged. Your budget is protected from this artificial inflation.

Click Validation and Protection

Just as we protect your impressions, we also validate every click your ad receives. Accidental clicks happen frequently on both desktop and mobile devices. A user might double-click a button or accidentally tap an ad while trying to scroll past it.

Our tracking system evaluates the nature of these interactions. If the system detects rapid, repeated clicks from the same source within a short timeframe, it registers only the first intentional click. The subsequent accidental clicks are ignored. This protects your campaign data from being skewed and ensures that you are measuring true engagement.
