Exporting Your Campaign Analytics to CSV

FacebookTwitterLinkedIn

To make truly data-driven decisions, you often need to analyze your advertising performance alongside your internal sales data, or share results with your team. To make this as seamless as possible, our platform allows you to export your campaign metrics directly into a .csv (Comma Separated Values) file. These files can be easily opened in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers.

We offer two distinct ways to export your data: a Global Performance Export for all campaigns, and a Single Ad Export for deep-diving into a specific campaign. This guide will show you how to use both.

Method 1: Exporting Global Analytics (All Campaigns)

If you want a high-level overview of how all your ads are performing against each other, use the Global Export feature.

  1. Navigate to the Analytics tab on your Ads Dashboard.
  2. At the top of the page, use the dropdown menu to select your desired date range (e.g., Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last month, etc.).
  3. Scroll down to the Ad Performance table.
  4. Click the Export to CSV button located just above the table.
  5. A file named campaign-performance-[date].csv will automatically download to your device.

What’s Included in this Report: This report gives you a quick summary of your active metrics, including:

  • Ad (The exact title of your campaign)
  • Status (e.g., publish, draft, rejected)
  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • CTR (%) (Click-Through Rate)
  • Spent ($)

Important Note: The Global Export strictly respects the filters you have currently applied to the Analytics page. If you select “Last 7 days”, the exported .csv will only calculate impressions, clicks, and spent funds generated within that specific 7-day window.

Method 2: Exporting Data for a Single Ad

If you need a detailed technical snapshot of one specific campaign, including its configuration limits alongside its lifetime stats, use the Single Ad Export.

  1. Navigate to your main Ads tab to view your active or archived campaigns.
  2. Find the specific ad you want to analyze and click the three dots icon (•••) in the top right corner of its card.
  3. Select Export CSV from the dropdown menu.
  4. The system will briefly show an “Exporting…” message while it pulls the lifetime data directly from the server.
  5. A file named ad_[ID]_report.csv (e.g., ad_12345_report.csv) will be downloaded.

What’s Included in this Report: Unlike the global report, the single ad report provides lifetime totals and configuration data, regardless of date filters:

  • Ad ID and Title
  • Status and Format (e.g., compact, sidebar)
  • CPM (Your current bid)
  • Total Budget
  • Impressions and Clicks (Lifetime totals)

Strategic Recommendations & Best Practices

To get the most out of your exported data, we recommend the following workflows:

  • Calculate True ROI: Export the Global Analytics report and import it into a spreadsheet. Add a custom column to cross-reference your ad spend against the actual sales or leads generated on your own website during that same period.
  • Archive Your Performance: If you frequently delete old ads to stay under the 200-ad account limit, make it a habit to run a Single Ad Export before permanently deleting a campaign. This ensures you always have a hard copy of its historical performance.
  • Sort Before You Export: The Global Export tool maintains the sorting order of your on-screen table. Try clicking the “CTR” or “Spent” column headers to sort your ads from highest to lowest before clicking the Export button. Your .csv file will be downloaded in that exact same order, saving you formatting time in Excel.
