  5. How to Turn on Dark Mode in MacOS

You can turn on Dark Mode in macOS by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select β€œSystem Preferences” from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on β€œGeneral.”
  3. Under β€œAppearance,” click on β€œDark.”
  4. Close the System Preferences window.

Your macOS will now be in Dark Mode, and the menus and windows will have a dark background. If you wish to turn it off, simply follow the same steps and select β€œLight” instead of β€œDark” in the General settings.

You can also use a keyboard shortcut to turn on Dark mode: Control + Option + Command + T

Additionally, you can also schedule Dark mode, so it turns on automatically at sunset and turns off at sunrise.
