  5. How to Turn on Dark Mode in MacOS

You can turn on Dark Mode in macOS by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select “System Preferences” from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on “General.”
  3. Under “Appearance,” click on “Dark.”
  4. Close the System Preferences window.

Your macOS will now be in Dark Mode, and the menus and windows will have a dark background. If you wish to turn it off, simply follow the same steps and select “Light” instead of “Dark” in the General settings.

You can also use a keyboard shortcut to turn on Dark mode: Control + Option + Command + T

Additionally, you can also schedule Dark mode, so it turns on automatically at sunset and turns off at sunrise.
